Issues 85,000 H-1B visas annually

USCIS said, “If we receive enough registrations by March 17, we will randomly select registrations and send notification to users’ online accounts.” According to a statement, this information will be sent to account holders by March 31. The US issues 85,000 H-1B visas each year, of which 20,000 are reserved for workers pursuing advanced degrees from US institutions, while the remaining 65,000 are awarded through a lottery system.

Waiting time of more than 1000 days
